Boring Week

This week at school has been a very boring one! No tests, no quizzes, nothing! I guess I should be happy right? I thought so, but instead I have been bored out of my mind! I guess I've adapted to studying and being busy all the time due to midterms week. But now, time to prepare for my upcoming tests!

Being sick is no fun! :(

I was sick last week with a combination of a cold and allergies. Lucky me right? The only downside to that was that I had a Biology test the following Tuesday... Prior to this I had been missing some class lectures and SI sessions. Therefore, I was very behind and had a lot of material to catch up on and concepts to grasp. I started to feel better a few days before the test and I had enough time to study. In the end, I didn't do as well as I had originally wanted, but I was surprised with the score that I received due to the little studying that I had obtained.

Upcoming Week

This upcoming week is going to be very stressful for me before we are out for Fall Break! I have a Bio Lecture test AND our EDC midterm! PLUS, I have a Chemistry test the following Wednesday... So much to do with so little time! Wish me luck guys!!! I'll be studying all weekend! :(

Do you ever freeze up on tests? Even though you have studied for days and days, for some reason, you just have a HUGE mental block on the test and run out of time? Well, this has happened to me a few times already and I was just wondering if anyone had a few good pointers on how to get over this test anxiety...

my classes

So far my classes have been going well... I have had no test the previous week and no tests this coming week, but for some reason, my teachers like to give tests all on the same week. SO, this week will be my studying week! :( Wish me luck!!!

office hours

I went into my Chemistry teacher's office hours and discuss my old exam and the problems that I have missed. As we were going through the test, he realized that he should have given me some points for attempting a problem. Therefore, I got a few extra points on my test due to me being a good student and coming in to check my old test! :) It really does pay off!
